Micro Projects That Lead to Momentum

You:
I feel like I’m circling the same project over and over. I want to launch, but I never feel ready.

Me:
Totally normal. You’re not avoiding the work, you’re trying to make it perfect before you begin. That’s not laziness. That’s pressure.

Let’s lower it.

You:
Okay, but what do I even start with? A whole course? A service page?

Me:
Nope. Start with a micro project. Something you can finish in a couple of hours (or less).

Not because it’s “the final thing”, but because it’s movement. And movement builds clarity.

You:
Like what?

Me:
Try one of these:

  • A 5-bullet email to your list

  • A short blog post based on a link you saved

  • A 3-post series on one idea

  • A 1-page PDF resource

  • A 60-second video tip

  • A free mini-review or audit for someone

  • Rewriting an old idea you already started

That’s enough. Really.

You:
But will that actually help my business?

Me:
Yes, because it builds momentum. It proves you can show up. Publish. Deliver. Build trust. Make something real.

One post turns into three.
One email brings replies.
One video leads to a DM.
One tiny action makes the next one easier.

That’s how it starts.

You:
So I don’t need to finish the whole thing?

Me:
Nope. You just need to start a thing you can actually finish.

Start small, on purpose.

You:
...Okay. I think I know what I’m doing today.

Me:
Exactly. Send it when it’s done.
